A chart makes it all plain

Hey guys, it’s Luke, with another (hopefully helpful) newsletter to expand on this week’s episode.

In case you missed Wednesday’s episode, it was called “Satan’s Agenda in Eden- and Why He Attacks Us Today.” If you haven’t listened yet, click below:

In that episode, I mentioned the three battlegrounds where Satan seeks domination: over where you spend eternity, over how your life goes until you get there, and over physical space on planet earth.

Most Christians only think about the first one. The second one is often ignored, and the third is totally forgotten about.

To explain a bit about physical space, remember that angelic beings (good and bad) are territorial spirits, and they seek legal rights to remain in assigned locations.

However, we are to “occupy” until Jesus returns (Luke 19:13), and so we want to cleanse any territory where we have authority of the devil’s influence. I say in the chart that we fight this in “the body,” but truly, all of these are fought in the spirit. I specified the body because our bodies are indeed our physical forms that dwell in these physical spaces.

The Gospel is the answer to all of these problems, but we will apply the Gospel in different ways. The Gospel is applied once-and-for-all to your salvation. However, we’ll have to use our Gospel-granted authority to cast the enemy out of these other areas he tries to access.
