Everything You Think You Know About Hell Could Be Wrong
Sharing a guest appearance on the Uncommon Sense podcast
What is Hell?
Hey everybody, it’s Luke with a brief update.
My surgery recovery was harder than I imagined it would be, but it’s getting there, and I’m feeling more like myself every day. Thank you for all the prayers 🙏
(I’m still not sure if that’s a prayer or a high five, but take it however you want!)
This week, I gave the other half of my two-parter revisiting Mount Hermon. Here it was, in case you missed it:
What is Hell?
Also, this week saw the release of an interview I recorded a few months ago with Megan Medick. She is a producer with the NewsNation media network (https://www.newsnationnow.com) and has a show called Uncommon Sense. She invited me on to talk about hell, and we got into some Book of Enoch discussion as well.
Hell is a heavy subject- frankly, it’s not something I desire to be known for talking about. But it also gave me an opportunity to share the Gospel with a new audience, so I’m glad I did it. If you’d like to give it a watch or a listen, here are a few links you can use to find it.

Coming Soon on Weird Stuff in the Bible
I am SUPER pumped about the next couple months of WSITB. I have a series of episodes that dive into the three tiers of the spiritual realm and the beings who inhabit them.
There are three levels in the spiritual realm- heaven, earth, and the underworld (also commonly known as Sheol in your Bible). Also, there are different beings assigned to these realms, and so this study is going to explain distinctions in how these realms operate and the functions of the beings who dwell in them.
It will all start this coming Wednesday, and over the next couple of months, I’ll share some answers I’ve found to questions such as:
What are the ‘waters above’ and ‘waters below’ in Genesis 1?
Why is there ‘no more sea’ in the new heavens and new earth of Revelation 21?
What does it mean that Satan is the ‘ruler of this world’ in the book of John?
Why does Ezekiel 28 say that Eden was a mountain?
What is the firmament of Genesis 1?
What is the Abyss mentioned in the books of Luke and Revelation?
And who is Apollyon, this being said to be the angel of the Abyss?
How can “death” be thrown into the Lake of Fire in Revelation 20?
This study will literally take us from Genesis to Revelation, and it all starts this (weird) Wednesday!
